In the history of Llangynwyd Rangers, there has never been an all-girls football team until now that is.
Sunday 13th of March marks the day when our U7s Girls team played for the very first time. They all travelled down to Ysgol Bryn Castell in Bryncethin to join in and play against some already established teams. And they all LOVED it. What a performance they put in too. Scoring and conceding some very good goals, but all the time having massive smiles on their faces. It really was a joy to see.
We also have our U9s and U11s girls who are very anxious to make their debut for the club.
We must say a massive thank you to our female coaches that have made this all happen.
Lauradean Poole, who has been the main organiser for all this.
Gemma Owens has been there from the start and is enjoying her coaching with the girls.
Maisy Fahey-Pennell, who is a footballer herself and will be our U11s coach going forward.
We are so proud of what we have achieved as a club.
We also have our girl's Huddle where girls from the age of 4-11 can come along and enjoy an hour of fun-filled football.
If you would like to join in please get in touch and we can let you know more about our amazing girl's section within our club.
